Midnight Flight and Hidden Confessions

The red-eye flight to New York was unusually quiet. A teenager snored in 12A, an elderly couple held hands in 9C, and a bachelor party dozed off after too many tiny bottles of vodka. The flight attendant, Leo, adjusted a blanket for a sleeping child and smiled—nights like this made the chaos worth it. As he passed by row 20, a paperback slipped from a tote bag. He picked it up: Sky Guy Confessions Book. He chuckled, recognizing the cover. Someone was reading his book. With a quiet grin, he slid it back into the bag and walked on.
